DAS and Goodlord shortlisted at British Insurance Awards

DAS UK, the UK’s leading provider of specialist legal expenses insurance, and Goodlord, a leading proptech company and experts in property protection, have been shortlisted in the ‘Claims Initiative of the Year – Insurer’ category at the British Insurance Awards.

The category recognises:

• Responses to a single event, major issue or multiple claims that went beyond business-as-usual in 2020/21;
• Use of innovative thinking/technology to make the claimant's journey smoother and/or to streamline internal systems to the mutual benefit of the business and its customer;
• Innovative use of supply chain/partnerships to deliver great customer service;
• Evidence of staff engagement with claimants/business partners to keep them informed.

Goodlord and DAS UK built a ground-breaking automated claims process through Goodlord’s digital lettings platform to remove the administration and stress for their agents and landlords in the claims process, reducing the time it takes to make a property protection claim, resolve a legal dispute, and ensure the swift payment of rent back to landlords.

The companies’ were also recent winners in the ‘Claims Partner of the Year’ category at the Insurance Times Awards.
