DAS UK Group has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Approach to Risk Mitigation’ category at tomorrow’s CIPS Excellence in Procurement Awards.
Held annually by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), the awards celebrate and reward excellence across the procurement and supply chain industry.
The Outsourcing and Procurement team’s submission centred around their transformative activities since 2015, and the key role their efforts have played in strengthening corporate systems and controls, which have in turn helped set the foundations for the company’s wider transformation, and return to profitability.
Procurement Manager Sue Renny said: “I’m thrilled that DAS has been shortlisted for this CIPS Excellence in Procurement Award. In terms of outsourcing controls and governance, we’ve moved a business risk mountain in the last few years. It’s a measure of how far we’ve come as a business that we’ve been shortlisted.”
