DAS sponsors Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland’s Premium Masterclass Series

18th September 2018

The Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland’s Premium Masterclass Series – sponsored by DAS UK Group – is holding the first in a series of six thought leadership events at the Clayton Hotel in Belfast at 8:15am this Thursday (20 September).

Now in its ninth year, the Masterclass Series features the latest insights into the issues affecting the insurance industry.

The first event will feature a ‘Mock Trial’ that will help analyse the insurance claims process. It will not involve a lecture on legal principles, which can very often feel divorced from the reality of claims management, but is designed to be challenging, educational and fun.

The trial will be presented by members of the award-winning defendant litigation team at McKinty and Wright, ranked as one of the leading defendant firms in Northern Ireland by Chambers UK.

The key speakers are:

● Catriona McCorry, McKinty and Wright
Working with a variety of employers’ liability, public liability and motor claims, Catriona specialises in asbestos related industrial disease legacy claims and professional indemnity including medical negligence claims.

● Roisin Harper, McKinty and Wright
Roisin works on employers’ liability and public liability claims for insurance clients, retailers and TPAs. Data protection is an essential element in the provision of legal services and Roisin is central to McKinty and Wright’s expertise in this area.
