DAS is partnering with Instech London to host ‘The Confluence of InsurTech, LawTech and PropTech’ event at the Steel Yard in London at 6pm on Monday 24 September.
Instech London is a community of over 3,500 insurers, technology experts, investors and professionals who come together to explore the opportunities offered by new technology.

The event will specifically examine some of the innovations emerging from the lawtech and proptech sectors and how they are affecting insurance as well as each other.
It will also analyse how the new developments are changing the nature of risk, and the smart ways in which each is using data, analysing documents, using smart contracts, and providing better ways to finance.
The event will comprise eight innovative start-ups from across the insurance, law and property sectors delivering mini pitches on themselves and their propositions, followed by a quick-fire Q&A and networking session. The speakers are:

The London event is part of DAS UK’s innovation strategy which involves working with up-and-coming insurtech businesses to combine the company’s in-depth legal insurance expertise with the latest technologies and potential game-changing ideas. This strategy is also a cornerstone of a wider programme of digital transformation across the company’s distribution, claims and website channels.
Earlier this year DAS UK became the world’s first legal expenses insurer to launch a legal expenses insurance skill for the Amazon Alexa, enabling customers to ask various questions regarding common legal issues such as disputes with neighbours, employment tribunals and redundancy. Since then the company has also become the first legal expenses insurer to launch a suite of cyber security information and guidance for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
